Land Rover wanted to show the Arab world the wealth of knowledge it has about off-roading in the Middle East and reinforce the connection between the brand and its target audience.
So we created Land Rover #InstaSurvival. A social media response campaign, where people could send Land Rover a photo on Instagram along with their location or destination, and receive a personalised survival tip about the area they are in, within minutes.
For each request, we made sure the tip would be useful in this exact area. We researched every possible danger, every animal indigenous to this location, and the impact of the weather on the different terrains people could encounter there, to make their trip safer.
10 days after launching our campaign, we answered many requests for survival tips, each garnering up to 100 likes on Instagram and 700 likes and 80 shares on Facebook. An increase of up to 30% in interactions for these different channels.
